SCHMUN Crisis League (SCL)

With 18 countries represented by 36 students, the delegates will convene to match the soft skills in debate, resolution writing, and deliberating skills. In the end, the delegates must beat the clock in order to complete the task. Delegates are charged with the task of role-playing their selected country and finding the best resolution to important global issues.

Delegates from around Stark County and surrounding areas debate, collaborate, and solve the most pressing needs that face today's world. Schools compete in small groups to earn delegate and delegation points in this match style competition series. Though the SCHMUN Crisis League is meant to be competitive and a form of competition, the goal is to promote a friendly environment to debate these difficult issues with grace and professionalism.

The SCHMUN Crisis League will challenge delegates with a face-paced two-hour special session. The session is to deal with the most pressing needs and issues solving the world. The delegates must work together to solve the issues thrown at them while holding their country's beliefs in high regard. The delegates will need to find common ground and compromise in order to find a solution in the allotted time.
