Stark County High School Model United Nations (SCHMUN)
SCHMUN is dedicated to solving world issues in a local area. It promotes critical thinking of governmental bodies and providing solutions to problems the world currently has. SCHMUN is meant to get young minds interested in government and worldwide problem solving, with real-world application. SCHMUN is proud to be a two-day free event to students from all around Stark County. We invite all students to be delegates from grades 9-12.

Testimonials
"When I joined Model UN, I wasn't really into debating or politics. That being said, my first SCHMUN conference was a ton of fun and I learned that even if you aren't into politics and debate, you can still have an incredible time. SCHMUN truly excels at bringing excitement to Model UN, and has given me many great memories."
Christina Slabinski
"The relationships and skills developed at SCHMUN are truly remarkable. Seeing students deepen their love for debate, compromise, and fellowship is what SCHMUN is predicated on being. We have special kids , with special talents. Welcome to the MUNiverse!"

"I never really was that invested into Model UN until I attended SCHMUN. It taught me a lot about world issues and I developed a passion for them. This has lead me to follow a career in International Law."
